Many students said they would like to work for the travel industry. Have you ever noticed that all the woman who work at the airlines seem to fit a mold or template. They are tall and slim and have good looks. Do you think society applies a double standard to men and woman?
Male is different with female physically; in other words, men are born with stronger bodies than women basically. According to history, for example, men usually went out to get the source of foods such as animals and protect their tribes or family from other tribes and animals while women stayed at home to take care of children and serve meals. As a result, it can be natural to have a double standard to men and women.
However, as technologies are getting developed, the physical gap is not a problem anymore. Men don’t have to protect their family physically because home secure systems are doing the jobs instead of them. Moreover, women are treated equally in the army by using the cutting-edge machines which don’t need any strength. Therefore, although it’s true that men have more physical advantages than women, technologies enable people to throw away the sexual double standard.
